prune picker

This is the blog of a prune picker. (Native born Californian) Retired oilfield. I am an old man. I blog a lot about my body and getting old. As I approach death life gets more interesting. More interesting is not good. I still drive. I attend sports, music, and civic events. I am writing my memoirs. I attend swim class three times a week. Some of my blogs might be interesting. A lot of my blogs are silly and trivial. None are very long.

Pear blossoms.

It is a beautiful spring morning in Ruston, Louisiana. I reported to the morning meeting of the Jefferson Corner Sports Fan Club. Had a breakfast of grapes and pecans, a great cup of coffee, and visited. On the way home received a call from John, John and his grandson (and my great grandson) Christian were on the way to the Waffle House. I joined them. Christian and I visited while John had his egg.

It seems like it was just a few days ago that I was taken by the pretty pear blossoms in Ruston. It was a year. Here are pictures taken this morning. Have a nice day!
